Matthew Evans, Customer Service & Sales Manager
On completion of his degree in Photojournalism, Matthew was drawn to youth work and found much reward in supporting and empowering young people. Matthew's journey at HI4Y Camp Vacamas began in 2008 at the waterfront, working his first summer as a Lifeguard/counselor before becoming Waterfront Director and later, Head Counselor. In between summer's 2008-2012 Matthew worked in our Teen Opportunity Program as an outreach worker in several Brooklyn schools. Matthew returned to HI4Y Camp Vacamas in early 2017 alongside Tony Bentley.

Tony Bentley, Operations and Logistics Manager
Tony Bentley studied and achieved his Bachelors in Sociology and Criminology from the University of Portsmouth, England where he worked several years in the British education system Joining the organization in 2007 as a seasonal employee and worked his way to becoming the Teens Director. In 2014 Tony became a full time employee as the conference coordinator and lead facilitator for programs, before taking on the role of Operations and Logistics Manager.

Lee Bell, Executive Director
Lee Bell has a long and extensive history with our agency. He has been with our organization for over 11 years holding nearly every position within our agency including; Camp Counselor, Division Head, Administrative Supervisor of our After-School Programs, Co-Director of our Vacamas Day Camp, Conference Center Director, Director of Camping, Director of Operations, and now Executive Director of the Hands In 4 Youth Retreat Center in NJ.
Lee saw a huge benefit in bringing these day trips in NJ for adults to the Hands In 4 Youth program, and he had a vision on how to execute. Lee brings extensive amount of executive planning, administration, communications and marketing experience in both the public and private sector. His overall goals over the next several years through his direct leadership are to increase participation in all programs, develop a long-term organizational plan, enhance agency promotion and marketing, support and expand our after-school initiatives, expand the use of technology within the organization’s administration, drive revenue through camp, programs and conference, while most importantly reach out, communicate and grow our donor base, relationships with support agencies, and alumni within the area and throughout the globe.
